Yoga means ‘spiritual oneness’. Spiritual Oneness means the incarnated soul is achieving a higher degree of oneness with the higher soul, and a certain degree of oneness with God and oneness with all. Arhatic is derived from the word “Arhat” describing a ‘highly evolved being’. Another term for Arhat is “Paramahansa”
Hence, the Purpose of spiritual practice or yoga is to achieve complete oneness: with the Higher Soul- at this level, one is a soul- realised person or an Arhat and with the Divine Spark and God- at this level, one is a god- realised person, a true child of god, a divine incarnate.
Arhatic Yoga is a comprehensive system of very advanced spiritual practices to rapidly and safely accelerate the evolution of the Soul, leading it to Arhatship. This advanced yoga system was given by Lord Mahaguruji Mei Ling to Master Choa Kok Sui who further categorised these into Levels of Arhatic Yoga suitable for the present masses. This system has its origins in China, India and Tibet.
Arhatic Yoga known as the yoga of synthesis, synthesizes and integrates 7 kinds of yoga- simplified Hatha yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, Dhyan Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Gyana Yoga and Karma Yoga- into a single system, hence bringing the essence and benefits of all yogas under one roof for balanced and rapid spiritual growth.
Arhatic Yoga is eclectic and non- sectarian. It simply leads you to the Truth. People from many religions (Taoists, Buddhists, Moslems, Christians, Jews and Hindus) practice Arhatic Yoga techniques. One does not have to change their religion to practice Arhatic Yoga. One can practice within their own religion. With Arhatic Yoga, you just become a better Hindu, a better Buddhist or a better Christian.
We are all spiritual beings, each evolving spiritually at a certain pace. For an ordinary person, this evolution is like climbing a mountain, round by round, slowly to reach the top. Practising Arhatic Yoga is like developing wings, that can help you fly to the top of the mountain!
Master Choa Kok Sui has modified these ancient spiritual practices and transformed it into a modern system suitable to modern times. One does not have to compromise on work or family life or be a renunciate in order to practice Arhatic Yoga. The teachings and techniques are very effective and powerful. At the same time, they are easy to understand because they have been predigested for you. It is given in the form of a schedule that can be made a part of our daily life, leading to a balanced development of all the chakras, virtues and faculties. Hence, Arhatic Yoga is a Way of Life.
